Quick Overnight Oats Recipe

I was diagnosed with Lupus two years ago. It became severe late last year. One of my resolutions for 2016 was to start eating healthy. I have been posting pictures of my meals on my private Facebook account and it gained a lot of positive feedbacks. People started asking me for recipe. So here it is, sharing this to anyone who might be interested to eating clean and maintaining a healthy diet too. Enjoy!

Rolled Oats (It has to be rolled oats, not regular oats)
Fresh Milk (Low-fat milk optional)
1 Banana (sliced into chips size)
A handful of cereal flakes
1 teaspoon of chia seeds
1 teaspoon honey


-Put 4 spoons of rolled oatmeal in mason jar (or any container that has a cover)
-Pour until the oats are immersed in fresh milk.
-Put sliced banana on top of the oatmeal
-Pour honey
-Put cereal flakes on top of the banana
-Put chia seeds on top of the cereal flakes
-Cover mason jar
-Put in the fridge for 12 hours




For rolled oats, I recommend and use this product. You can buy this in grocery stores.

I prepare this meal at night because this recipe is best for breakfast meal. It makes you feel full the whole day, but don’t skip lunch. You can use other fruits too, or better yet, put in mixed fruits. Enjoy!
